QuestMod¶
QuestMod adds a classic-style quest system to Minecraft Forge 1.20.1: a Quest Master (NPC) that offers, takes in and rewards quests, with a clear panel instead of a giant tree, built to work with any mod.
What it includes¶
- Several quest types: kill, break, consume, craft, smelt and deliver items. Objectives accept IDs from any mod and tags (
#minecraft:logs). - Several objectives per quest, several rewards with NBT, experience and milestones with percentage rewards.
- Requirements and chains of quests, sections (for example one per mod) and automation (auto-accept and auto-claim).
- Community quests with a server-wide counter, where each player decides whether to take part.
- Customizable NPCs: player skin, skin from a link, resource pack texture, the model of another mob from any mod, or an item with a 3D model.
- Quest book (key or item) to use it without NPCs, and datapack quests for modpacks.
- In-game editor with an item picker (inventory or the whole registry, mods included).
- Customizable: colors and textures through resource packs, and translatable to any language.
